Mother Other is a book that is part of the MOTH project, More-Than-Human Life Project, of the Research and Action Program for the Rights of Nature, carried out by the New York University School of Law. MOTH Gathering, Sarayaku Territory, 2024
The 2024 MOTH Gathering , meanwhile, was co-hosted by the Sarayaku Indigenous People and held in their territory. Song of the Cedars was jointly created by four humans—the musician Cosmo Sheldrake , the writer Robert Macfarlane , the legal scholar César Rodríguez-Garavito, and the mycologist Giuliana Furci —and a cloud forest, namely the Los Cedros Forest in Ecuador.
